Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy is an amazing therapy model with great results. It is easy to know the basics and an ongoing challenge to learn to do it well - and this is where our not-for-profit group can help make a difference.
Our SIT SID group is focused spending time learning and practising, the very element that formal EFT training just can't include enough time for. We 'slice it thin' and 'slow it down'.
We foster a sense of curiosity, experimentation and creativity where nothing is 'wrong'.
This kind of practical session is also a source of something very rare in Britain - British video examples of EFT. We video some of the role plays and discussions and develop resources that we will make freely available for all of us to use in our own learning and in teaching others about EFT. (People will always have the right to refuse to be videoed.)
Sandra Taylor is an ICEEFT Certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor & Trainer, she is based in Lytham St. Anne's.
Sarah McConnell is an ICEEFT Certified Therapist & Supervisor.
We are committed to building EFT in Britain and are part of the team running the British EFT Community - BEFT Community. As residents of the North West, we particularly want therapists here to develop their skills and knowledge and make EFT well known among the public across the area.
