Does coming to EFT therapy mean we are weak people or hopeless at relationships?
It takes courage, not weakness, to seek help and to admit you can’t do it on your own. Whatever fairy tale images there are around us in reality relationships aren't easy - whether with ourselves, our partners or others. There are times when it really helps to have an EFT therapist working with you.
Coming to EFT therapy is about investing in yourself and your relationship(s) now and for the future.

I don't find it easy to talk about feelings so will EFT therapy be any use?
I don't expect people to come being experts at talking about their feelings and in partnerships it is common that one person is much more comfortable talking about feelings than another. While EFT is about emotions and feelings it is also about logic and understanding, the approach has a clear map of steps and stages that we would work through together. The main thing is that you come open to working on yourself and your relationship(s).
Where would we see you?
I am currently only working online, usually via Zoom. I send you an email just before the session with a link that you click at the start of the session.
When can we see you?
I see clients online on Thursdays in the day time/early evening (Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) / British Summer TIme (BST).
How much do sessions cost?
My maximum fee is £200 per hour.
If this is not manageable then we can talk and negotiate this.
You can pay by bank transfer. People outside the UK can also pay by Paypal.

How long will it take?
The length of your therapy depend on what your goals are, how deep your issues are, and how receptive you are to therapy. I usually work with people anything from 12 sessions to over a year - I would collaborate with you on how much time is appropriate for you and you will always be able to choose when to end sessions.
What can we read to help us understand, and work on, our relationship?
Hold Me Tight, written by Dr. Sue Johnson, is for the general public. You can reflect on your relationships through seven conversations that capture the defining moments in a love relationship. The lessons of EFT are brought to life through case studies and there are exercises to help you make positive changes in your relationship. There is an online Hold Me Tight programme.
